JET Driving School opened it’s doors to the Columbia, MD community in December of 2015. Founded by three business partners Jasmin, Erica, and Teresa. Jasmin has an extensive background in business and accounting. Erica specializes and has over 20 years of IT and business experience. Teresa, our lead instructor, has over 10 years of teaching Driver’s Education. Besides operating JET Driving School, Jasmin, Erica, and Teresa operate other establishments.
What sets us apart?
We are three women of different cultural and career backgrounds. JET uses this as a strength. Each of us, incorporate our experiences into running a successful woman-owned minority business. We provide a family-friendly atmosphere. Our students complete their Driver’s Education Program at JET Driving school as JET scholars. All of our instructors know our students by name. JET cares about the success of its scholars. JET Driving School offers an innovative approach to driving that focuses on a wide range of knowledge and skills that prepare our students for independent driving. JET works with each student as an individual.
What is our goal?
JET’s goal is to equip our students with the skills, confidence, and self-awareness they need to continue on the road to safe driving. Our mission is to successfully educate inexperienced drivers on how to safely operate a vehicle and execute good decisions on the road. We aim to make your new driving experience very rewarding and exciting. Driving is a pit stop on the road to independence. After all, driving is a privilege and learning how to drive is a milestone one never forgets!
